Diet Awareness
Diet Awareness points out the strengths and weaknesses in your diet by assessing the foods you have eaten during the course of one day.
  • The food selection process is simple.
  • It assesses the number of servings of each food group, which have been consumed during the day.
  • It also notes the number of servings of other important nutritional criteria, some of which are to be encouraged, such as dietary fibre, ascorbic acid-rich foods, beta-carotene-rich foods, and some to be discouraged, such as caffeine-containing, high salt foods, high-cholesterol foods, saturated fat, etc.
  • This exercise is excellent for the teaching/learning of meal planning as the learner has an opportunity to improve the daily selection based on the advice given in the evaluation.
